War Thunder: Endless Grinding Simulator is a Free-to-Play World War II /Cold-War game with a built-in crossplay function between PC & PS4, made by yet another Russian developer, Gaijin. Like all good MMORFAGGERs, it features excessive use of grinding, heavy-set bias, pseudo-Realism, and a community of inbred fuckwits.

  • It can be usefull on some tanks. Personally, I find it best on the Churchill Mk. VII (152mm plus tracks can make quite a difference) and the Panzer IV H (80mm of armor is decent, but they cover the entire front with tracks which does help, even more when angled a bit).
  • Not why in War Thunder, why did the Germans make such an over complicated tank. The Soviets made a simple tank which had sloped armor, effectively tripling the armor thickness. Or somewhere around there. It's the german’s fault, not why it’s so bad.

Carrying the team and angling your tank? Place it on the corner. Open top SPG? Place a sheet of metal over the top to protect against bullets.Mind you, it would mean a lot of coding for weights, speeds etc. Or maybe not. Idk.Because bushes aren't enough pay to win yet?

And I thought tank bushes were pay to win.I thought common sense prevails but obviously not.As a f2p scrub (no pun intended) I see a lot of tanks with so called pay to win bushes. Memorise the name, aim for The approximate place your brain says and whack it into oblivion.Another thing that I thought was self explanatory was the fact you can only have one armour piece per tank, one use. With a little expierence and the right gun, you got no problem killing the walking bushes. I love the guys with bushes on them, easy target that i see from miles. I dont care what tank i face (only exeption would be the IS).

Just flank them and their bushes wont give them anything. Originally posted by:It would be cool to have 500 GE single-use armour modifications.

Just flank them and their bushes wont give them anything. It's difficult enough to kill a lot of the high tier Russian vehicles in the first place, even when you know the weakspots, have the right angle and enough penetration it's a 50/50 at best.Either way it makes 0 difference how easy you may or may not think it is, as that's not what determines if something is pay to win or not, and it 100% gives an advantage over players who do not have bushes in certain situations. Russian tanks are almost the same opponent as the other nations. In the end it depends on the experience of your enemy.Just try the free cheat called ULQ, you will see that bushes are useless.

Jumonkey OnlineWar Thunder-KV-1E Premium Realistic Gameplay Wiki info about KV-1EAfter receiving the first reports from the front about the heavy tanks' deployment in battle, the LKZ factory began to work on strengthening the KV's armour. The only weapon capable of penetrating the Soviet tank's frontal armour was the 88 mm 8.8 Flak 18 anti-aircraft cannon. Its anti-aircraft rounds, even without an armour-piercing steel core, had an 810 m/s muzzle velocity and could penetrate an 80 mm thick armour plate set at a 30 degree angle from a range of 1,000 metres. As a rule, it disabled the KV-1 with 2-3 hits to its turret and hull. Specialists at the Leningrad Kirovsk factory developed a simple but effective up-armouring design previously used on the T-28 tank. The tank's turret and hull sides were fitted with 25 mm add-on armour plates, increasing the overall armour width to 100 mm.

Furthermore, a small gap was left between the turret and the add-on armour. This improved the tank's defences when under fire from shaped high explosive shells. These modifications increased the tank's combat-loaded weight to 50 tonnes. Tanks modified in such a way could be discerned by the huge heads of the bolts used to attach the add-on armour plates. The main bulk of these up-armoured tanks was sent to the Northwestern and Leningrad fronts. Some of these tanks were captured intact and used by German forces. The stationary nature of combat encounters did not allow the KV to truly come into its own. Apart from that, tank units constantly complained about the vehicle's high weight, which didn't just lead to technical problems. All it took was a few KV tanks driving along a road to make it difficult to negotiate for other vehicles, even tracked ones.

The heavy tank's mobility on loose ground or boggy terrain was unsatisfactory.
